Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers

Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers starred in 9 musicals for RKO - starting in 1933 with Flying Down to Rio and ending in 1939 with the biopic - The Story of Vernon & Irene Castle.  With these 9 films - Fred & Ginger became legends.

"Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers - A Celebration In Song" is a tribute to those musicals; and the wonderful songs which they sang (and danced to).  During the 1930's; RKO hired some of the most talented song-writers such as Irving Berlin; George & Ira Gershwin; and Jerome Kern & Dorothy Fields - and took inspiration from original Broadway musicals - "The Gay Divorce" and "Gowns by Roberta".

So grab your top hat; brush-off the tails and put on your dancing shoes and come along and share Pam's joy for that great duo - Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers.
